"To promote and preserve the public trust inherent in professional appraisal practice, an appraiser must observe the highest standards of professional ethics" (from Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice - USPAP).
The Ethics rule contains four sections: Conduct, Management, Confidentiality, and Record Keeping. These standards are set to ensure the appraiser provides honest, impartial, and professionally competent appraisal reports. These standards are held in high regard by Carl Graveline Appraisal Services and are conveyed on all assignments engaged. No assignment is completed based on a predetermined value and all appraisals are thoroughly impartial.
The Competency rule ensures that all assignments accepted by Carl Graveline Appraisal Services are in accordance with our knowledge and experience to complete the assignment.
